Ingredients
-
2 Oranges
-
60 ml. Maple syrup
-
2 tbsp. Honey
-
2 Vanilla powder
Directions
Everyone enjoys a good jam occasionally. It reminds me of my childhood and my home. Since I don’t use table sugar I tried to prepare a sugar-free jam recipe and I used different sweeteners as a replacement. I prepared just enough jam that could be stored for a few days in the fridge and I used it for some of my recipes. The recipe itself is simple and quick – no time wasted on the stove. It turned out to be much better than anticipated and its perfectly consistent. I truly believe that anyone would enjoy a home-made jam with maple syrup and honey! It’s just perfect for sweetening pancakes, muffins, custards and pastry. Give this pleasant surprise to your loved ones or guests.

Thoroughly peel the oranges' zest. Remove the white part of the zest as best as you can since it's bitter. I used a peeler which helped me remove it. |
